I wrote Who Holds the Leader? A Memoir of One Executive’s Grief and a Call for Organizational Change after navigating profound personal loss while continuing to lead. The book begins with my experience and reflects on how that season reshaped my understanding of leadership, grief, and organizational responsibility. It also revealed how often corporate environments struggle to support leaders through life-altering moments with the care and intention they need.
That experience sparked the development of The CARE Model©, a practical framework designed to help leaders and organizations respond to change, disruption, and human need with greater clarity, compassion, and resilience. What began as a deeply personal journey became the foundation for a broader approach to leadership and ultimately led to The CARE Model© Workbook, Building a Culture that Holds When it Matters Most, created to help others put those principles into practice.
